טרגדיה בטמרה: אם, שתי בנותיה וקרובת משפחתה נהרגו מפגיעת טיל במהלך מטח כבד לעבר אזור הצפון בסביבות השעה 23:15 בליל שבת, טיל ששוגר מכיוון איראן פגע ישירות בבניין מגורים בטמרה. כתוצאה מהפגיעה הקטלנית נהרגו ארבע נשים – כולן בנות משפחה אחת. מנאר אל-קאסם אבו אל-היג'א חטיב, בת 45, ושתי בנותיה – חאלה בת ה-13 ושדא בת ה-20 – מצאו את מותן בזירה. ההרוגה הרביעית היא מנאר דיאב חטיב, בת 41, קרובת משפחה נוספת. מדיווחי מד"א עולה כי 10 בני אדם נוספים נפצעו באורח קל, ולפחות 10 תושבים טופלו בשל התקפי חרדה. מרכז הרפואי רמב"ם קלט 14 פצועים, בהם גם נפגעים נפשית. אחד הנפגעים, חמודי כיוואן, שחזר מהמיטה בבית החולים: "ישבנו בבית, צפינו בטלוויזיה – פתאום שמענו פיצוץ עז, וכל המבנה קרס. לא הבנתי איפה שאר בני המשפחה שלי". גם מחמוד חיג'אזי, אב לפצוע בן 16, תיאר את הדאגה: "הבן שלי היה אצל חבר. אחרי הפיצוץ ניסיתי ליצור איתו קשר – הוא אמר שמפנים אותו לרמב"ם. רצתי מיד לשם". פרמדיק מד"א עדנאן אבו רומי היה מהראשונים להגיע לזירה: "ראיתי הרס מוחלט, חילצנו צעירה ללא סימני חיים ונאלצנו לקבוע את מותה. חילצנו גם פצועים עם חבלות קלות ונפגעי חרדה". צוותי כיבוי רבים פעלו בשטח במשך שעות. לוחמי האש נאלצו להתמודד עם קריסת קומה שלמה בבניין, וכן עם נזקים למבנים סמוכים. לאחר הערכת מצב בשטח הועברה האחריות לפיקוד העורף. שדא חטיב, אחת ההרוגות, הייתה סטודנטית מצטיינת למשפטים באוניברסיטת חיפה ועוזרת מחקר. לדברי המרצים שלה, הייתה תלמידה שקטה אך מבריקה, שהותירה רושם חזק על כל מי שלימד אותה. Tragedy in Tamra: A mother, her two daughters, and a relative killed by a missile strike During a heavy barrage toward northern Israel at around 11:15 p.m. on Friday night, a missile launched from Iran struck a residential building in the city of Tamra. The direct and deadly hit claimed the lives of four women — all members of the same extended family. The victims were: Manar al-Qasem Abu al-Hija Khatib, 45, and her two daughters — Hala, 13, and Shada, 20 — who were killed on the spot. The fourth victim was Manar Diab Khatib, 41, another relative. According to Magen David Adom (MDA), 10 other people sustained minor injuries, and at least 10 residents were treated for anxiety. Rambam Medical Center received 14 casualties, including individuals suffering from emotional trauma. One of the injured, Hamoudi Kiwan, spoke from his hospital bed: "We were sitting at home watching TV, and suddenly there was a huge explosion — the whole building collapsed. I didn’t know where the rest of my family was." Mahmoud Hijazi, the father of a 16-year-old boy who was wounded, said: "My son was visiting a friend. After the explosion, I tried to contact him. He told me he was being evacuated to Rambam, so I rushed there immediately." MDA paramedic Adnan Abu Rumi, one of the first on the scene, described the devastation: "I saw total destruction. We pulled a young woman from the rubble with no signs of life and had to pronounce her dead. We also evacuated victims with light injuries and those suffering from shock." Fire and rescue teams operated in the area for hours, dealing with the collapse of an entire floor and damage to nearby structures. After an assessment, the situation was handed over to the IDF Home Front Command. Shada Khatib, one of the victims, was an outstanding law student at the University of Haifa and a research assistant.
