The Ultra-Orthodox public launched a wave of protests and demonstrations across Israel following the tragic deaths of infants at a daycare center in Jerusalem earlier this week. After the incident, authorities raised the possibility of transferring the infants’ bodies for autopsy at the Abu Kabir Institute in order to determine the cause of death. The move sparked widespread public outrage, particularly within the Ultra-Orthodox community, which views autopsies as a serious violation of human dignity and Jewish law. As a result, thousands of protesters took to the streets, leading to road blockages, clashes with police forces, and arrests.
