Every detail carries his fingerprints: a stone-clad stove assembled pebble by pebble, a carved wooden countertop, handmade shelving, and a beautifully patterned oak door built from dozens of individually cut slats. He protected the exterior with oil, insulated the ceiling with reflective foil, and partitioned the interior into warm, functional rooms using boards he cut and fitted on site.
