תיאור
Bjorn Brenton has spent months carving a handcrafted life out of the wilderness, literally. With nothing but raw timber, hand tools, and an iron-hard dose of patience, he built a two-floor log cabin from the ground up, shaping every beam, board, window, and door by himself. He raised the walls from rough-sawn logs, covered the steep roof with waterproof membranes and shingles, sealed the structure against brutal winters, and even milled his own insulation from natural fibers. Inside, he laid plank floors, built a spacious loft, installed custom windows, and crafted a thick insulated hatch to keep heat from escaping. Every detail carries his fingerprints: a stone-clad stove assembled pebble by pebble, a carved wooden countertop, handmade shelving, and a beautifully patterned oak door built from dozens of individually cut slats. He protected the exterior with oil, insulated the ceiling with reflective foil, and partitioned the interior into warm, functional rooms using boards he cut and fitted on site. Even daily life became part of the project, baking bread, cooking over fire, carving bowls, and embracing the rhythm of slow living in the woods. The result? A fully self-made, off-grid wooden refuge that blends craftsmanship, survival skills, and quiet artistry.
