But in Ukraine, the meaning of the kill zone is evolving, because the battlefield itself has changed. Drones, sensors, and robotic systems are transforming how armies fight.

And to react, to defend the country and make any Russian advance as hard as possible, Ukraine is building a new type of kill zone. Not just trenches and artillery, but a layered defensive system built around drones, mines, and robotics.
