The 423rd Separate UAV Battalion was founded just over a year ago. Now, deployed in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, they are deployed in the sector where Russia has made its largest gains over the past years. In small groups, they creep forward, using bad weather like fog and rain as cover. While filming, this is exactly what we experience. Luckily, large parts of the Battalion are made up of former assault soldiers: battle-hardened infantrymen who have experienced war in its most gruesome form and know how to handle difficult situations. This is the story of drones, technology, but also how war has changed and how its soldiers are forced to adapt.
