I don’t like news that leans left or right — I care about the full picture. Ground News helps me step back, cut through the noise, and truly understand what’s going on. That’s what won me over. 👉 Grab my digital calipers now — the same ones I use in the garage: https://mwigmedia.com In this video, I’m sharing the full story of how I built a custom quad bike using a 1998 Honda VFR800 as the base. This motorcycle is known for its reliable and powerful V4 engine, and I’ve always wanted to turn it into something unique. Originally, I planned to create a trike — a three-wheeled bike — but as I progressed, I realized that a single rear wheel didn’t look or feel quite right. So I changed the plan mid-build and added a second rear wheel with a custom axle solution. That’s how this turned into a real quad bike project. The rear swingarm of the VFR800 allowed me to mount two 18-inch car wheels using spacers, and the front axle came from an older quad project featured on the channel. Everything fit together better than I expected, but of course, it wasn’t without challenges. This was a hands-on, no-blueprint project built entirely in the garage — with trial, error, welding, cutting, and some creative problem-solving. Let me know in the comments what you would add or improve on this build. And don’t forget to subscribe if you want more wild garage creations! Thanks for watching, and see you in the next project. #BikeMods #custombike #custombikebuild #fyp
