זהו החלק הראשון של נסיעה על כביש 6 שהוא כביש חוצה ישראל. כביש זה נקרא ע"ש יצחק רבין " דרך יצחק רבין ", בין היתר מאחר והייתה זו ממשלת רבין שהחליטה בשנת 1992 על הקמת הכביש. כביש 6 הוא כביש אגרה ראשון בישראל.

את הנסיעה התחלנו בנקודה הצפונית ביותר של הכביש (נכון ל- 2014) במחלף עין תות היוצא מכביש 70, המשכנו אל מחלף עירון המחבר את הכביש לכביש 65 (ואדי ערה), מחלף באקה-ג'ת המחבר כיום לכביש 61 ובעתיד ל- 9 שיוארך, מחלף ניצני עוז המחבר אל כביש 57, מחלף אייל המחבר לכביש 551, מחלף חורשים המחבר אל כביש 531, מחלף קסם המחבר אל כביש 5 ומעט לפני מחלף נחשונים המחבר לכביש 471 מסתיים הסרט, אך אל דאגה המשך הנסיעה תוגש לכם בחלק השני.

Highway 6 also known as the Trans-Israel Highway is a major electronic toll highway in Israel Holy Land. Highway 6 is the first Israeli Build-Operate-Transfer road constructed, carried out mainly by the private sector in return for a license to collect tolls on the highway for a given number of years. It is also one of the largest infrastructure projects undertaken in Israel in recent years.

The highway was officially dedicated as the Yitzhak Rabin Highway though this name is not commonly used. It started operating in the early 2000s and is being lengthened as construction proceeds on newer sections. The northern terminus was extended to the Ein Tut Interchange on July 20, 2009 where the highway now merges into Highway 70 heading northwards.
