In this video, I am just talking about the process the dealership do to update your Navigation map on your Prius. This procedure can't be done by yourself since it require a technician to log into TIS to input the info in the drop down menu, and require their USB flash drive. The activation number will be purchased at the dealership to get access to the license key so that you can input it on your Prius to get the update. I hope this video helps you get a better understanding of what the dealership do to update your Navigation Map.


Toyota Prius
2010-2011 uses a CD to update your Nav. Map
2012-2013 uses a USB flash drive to update your Nav. Map
2014-2015 uses SD card to update your Nav. Map


The Prius Model II, and III uses a different head unit than the model IV
