A lecture in English. The job of Esau was to drive the jews out from the lands where they had been exiled and eventually return them into their homeland. In the language of the rabbis, Esau is compared to the swine. Since the swine is the only non-kosher animal that has completely split hooves, outwardly it displays a sign of a kosher animal, yet inwardly (not chewing its cud), it remains unfit according to Jewish dietary laws. Similarly Esau feigned piety in front of his father Yitzchak, to have him falsely believe that he was in fact righteous.
