תיאור

How intercoolers work. Air-to-air intercooler vs air-to-water intercooler. Bar and plate vs. tube and fin. Intercoolers are used to cool the intake charge of forced induction engines. By cooling the intake air, the air is more dense and thus has more oxygen, allowing the engine to burn more fuel in each cylinder, and increasing power. There are many types of intercoolers; this video features an air-to-air bar and plate Yonaka intercooler.
