Watch today's first successful flight test of the Arrow 3 interceptor. The flight test was conducted by Israel's Missile Defense Organization, a branch of the Ministry of Defense, in conjunction with the US MDA. Head of IMDO, Yair Ramati, noted earlier today:

"This was a flight test to see the Arrow 3 interceptor take off, soar up through the atmosphere, enter space, conduct somersaults and other exercises, float for a few minutes, and do everything it may be required to do. The proceedings were impressive; it is fairly rare for everything to succeed in a first test of this type."
