MG5 Review - it's ACTUALLY good 😱

It’s pretty much the most affordable electric estate car you can buy in 2022, and Mat’s on a mission to see whether this EV can compete with similarly-priced petrol-powered competitors. If we start with the design… Well, it’s not much to look at, if we’re being honest. Both from the front and the sides we’re getting old Passat vibes, and the fact that you can only get it with 16” wheels doesn’t do it any favours! However, it’s not all bad! For starters, the single electric motor is good for 156hp, whiles its 61kWh battery pack will also provide you with a claimed range of around 250 miles. Not bad when you consider the price is around £29,500! Take a step inside and the MG5 has a pretty average design. It’s nothing too special, but at the sub-£30,000 price tag, you can’t really complain! There’s also plenty of room in the back seats so neither big kids nor adults will have trouble fitting in.
