The Silver Bowl of the Alter Rebbe In honor of 24th Tevet, the silver bowl of the Alter Rebbe is presented here. Each year, at the Seder Table of the Chabad Rebbes, the soup was brought to the table in this silver bowl. After the soup was served to everyone seated at the table, the Rebbe, followed by each of the guests, would take three tablespoons of soup from this silver bowl and place them into their own bowls.
