Live Sessions with Mendy is a stripped back music series exploring Jewish music through the lens of its musicians, unobscured by the usual mechanics of traditional music production. This session features Mendy Portnoy and Gavriel aka EKEV. Unlike previous TYH Live Sessions, there is no band here, just the artists themselves. What unfolds are live performances alongside the experiment of the creative process as it happens in real time. These sessions live somewhere between a studio performance and a jam, but at their core they are conversations about music, meaning, and making.
