ניגון וריקוד מסורתי מבוצע בשניים
בלהט הריקוד והנגינה של ניגוני מירון המוסיקה משתתקת באחת! הקהל נעמד על מקומו, מצטנף במעגל סביב התרחשות בקרב שניים מקרב הקהל
ומה רואים שם ? מתיחות בין השניים כשהאחד שותה מבקבוק שבידו, והשני מבקש להצטרף לשתייה, כשהוא מסרב, בינתיים המוסיקה מתחילה לנגן את ניגון ה"ברויגז טאנץ" הידוע (פארוואזשע ביסטו ברוגז איך ווייס דאך נישט פארוואס, פאוואז'ע גייסטו א גאנצן טאג אראפ געלאזט די נאז (למה אתה מרוגז? אין לי הרי מושג מדוע? למה אתה כל היום עם אפך למטה?)
הויכוח מתלהט לאט, ומתנהל ללא מילים, אלא באמצעות הליכה מהירה של האחד בעיגול, לכוון היריב, עד שבמהלך התגרה אחד נופל שדוד ללא רוח חיים כביכול, ואז השני ניגש ומתחיל להצטער, ולבכות את חברו הנפטר, ומתוך הניגון הוא מנסה להזיז את אבריו ולהחיותו, כל זה קורה לצלילי נגינה נוגה עצובה המבקיעה תפילה של החבר על מתו שמוטל לפניו, עד ש... הניגון העליז מעיר ומעביר את הנפטר ממות לחיים והוא קם לאיטו ורוקד עם החבר ושניהם מכניסים את כל הקהל בריקוד העליז שממשיך בניגונים וריקודים סוערים.

Suddenly, in the midst of the exciting Meron music and dancing, all becomes quiet! The revelers stay where they are, gathered in a circle around a dramatic scene which is unfolding between two people from amongst the crowd. There is tension between the two, as though one of them has grabbed something from the other. The musicians begin to play the melody of the famous “Broygez Tants” – the “Feuding Dance.” (Translated lyrics: Why are you so angry? I don’t understand. Why do you walk around all day with your head down?)

Through their movements, the dancers portray an argument that slowly and wordlessly heats up, until in the ensuing scuffle, one of them falls as though dead. The other dancer comes closer, and remorsefully mourns his “deceased” friend; and as the music continues, he attempts to revive him by manipulating his limbs. The musicians play a sorrowful song expressing the dancer’s emotional prayers over his friend’s death.

And then… then… a lively melody revives the “dead,” bringing him back to life! He quickly rises and dances with his friend, leading the entire assembly into a joyful dance, which continues on with excited singing and dancing.
