Every season Rav Rafi [Fried, of Oorah's Discover U program for post-high school guys] tells me to close the last day of DU with first seder, and have the busses leaving immediately after... This morning I made a deal with R’ Rafi. You get the DU oilam to learn, and we will dance them and escort them to the busses upon completion. He was skeptical.. maybe it’s shtering the first Seder.. and would disturb the kollel.. but I told him this is precisely what we are here for. And what an incredible kidush Hashem it was. On the heels of yesterday's magnificent kabolas hatorah, The kol Torah was roaring till eleven, even as busses idled outside with all the luggage waiting to be loaded on.. Upon finishing the Limud, we started dancing to the song “אשרי מי שגדול בתורה. The place was on fire mamesh. I was zoche to dance with every DU participant separately. No words nor pictures or videos can adequately explain. They literally did not want to leave. On this we can truly say ביטולו זהו קיומו. How lucky we all are for the eternal opportunities we are zoche to in TheZone.
