Finally got out a video of a trenchless, CIPP patch install (well, two actually).
My 7 and 11 year old manned the camera. I think they did a splendid job!
Roots penetrated this 6" waste line in several places. In addition the pipe was not fully connected in 3 places leading to exfiltration (sewage water exiting the pipe).
As the pipe runs under a busy thoroughfare conventional dig and replace was not a viable option. Instead we were able to install these fiberglass sleeves that are engineered to last 50 years!
