At -30°C, I set up a tent in the middle of a frozen lake and turned it into my shelter.
From inside the tent, I drilled through thick ice and fished right beneath my feet.
I tied a small bell to the end of my fishing line — in the absolute silence, that bell was the only sound telling me a fish had arrived.
I slept next to the ice hole, drank hot coffee to stay warm, and waited for hours in the freezing cold.
No comfort, no warmth, no noise — just ice, patience, and survival.
