A: It seems that the plaster /mortar layer wasn't tight to the concrete, it was "floating" so the movement caused the repeated cracks every few months. This is the reason I removed the deep layer and replaced it. Its been a year since I made this video and it still fine 🙂. Hopefully forever. Q: What did you use for first layer and then second/final layer? There seemed to be a difference? A: Yes, these are 2 different materials. The first material (I put to fill the deep layer) is mortar/plaster. This specific material called "Gypsum Mortar" and comes ready mixed powder and it should be mixed with water. It dries relatively fast .
