Learn how to change the oil in a car or truck. In this case I have a brand new Duramax but the process is the same for a Power Stroke or Cummins. Changing the oil in a diesel is basically the same as a gasoline car except you want to use oil designed for diesel engines.
Diesel oil has a lot of soot in it due to burning diesel and soot is abrasive so it’s important you change the oil at the proper intervals. High quality synthetic oil and a good filter is a must.
